We have a special arrangement with the Basel Tourismus Incoming Services to reserve rooms on a first come first basis at the Swissotel Le Plaza, Ramada Plaza, Drei Koenig, and the Mercure Europe. You must submit your dates (three nights minimum), a credit card and your preference of hotel. The prices are varying depending on the dates you will be there and the hotel confirmed. Most hotels are asking 350 Swiss Francs and up. This is a service we are providing without remuneration from the Tourismus office, therefore, a $75.00 non-refundable booking fee will be applied to all reservations confirmed.
The Dorint Basel is a 3 star business hotel offering 171 rooms. It is three blocks from Messe Basel, the trade fair ground and congress center. It is 1 km from the highway and 20 minutes by tram from the city center. With a modern architecture, the hotel features a restaurant, a lobby bar, 5 conference rooms for up to 120 people and a basement garage

We are accepting wait list for all room types
Rates given above are in Swiss Francs and include buffet breakfast, it does not include the 3.6% tax nor a per day/per person city tax of 3.20 Swiss Francs. Rooms reserved overr June 3rd must stay until June 7th no matter which day you arrived.
PAYMENT:
The rooming list will be given to the hotel on April 30th and full payment of your stay will be charged at that time. A hotel registration card, which we will provide in advance, must be submitted at that time.
CANCELLATION:
The hotel wants a firm date of your stay by January 25th, 2008. There will be no charge for rooms cancelled before that date. After January 25th, the hotel reserves the right to charge you for any days you delete, no shows and early departures.
In addition to the hotel charges noted, a $100.00 cancellation fee will be charged by WorldTable for each room cancelled fewer than 30 days prior to scheduled arrival. Name changes will be allowed but there will be a charge of $100 for every name change.
